Hi,
I am trying to understand the lines of code in the prt file for a character mode report. I am using a Lexmark Forms Printer 4227 plus, and an Oracle report layout to print cheques. I am testing on plain paper and comparing it to a draft of the cheque to make sure that the data falls in the right place. It is printing just completely mad at the moment. Big spaces between lines etc and I feel that maybe the prt files has something to do with it. The report is using the following prt file. Can someone please explain what it is doing when the report prints. Thanx.
printer "cheques"
height 67
width 75
before report esc "C" 22
after report esc "C" 66
after page control(L)
return control(M)
linefeed control(J)
code "bold on" esc "E"
code "bold off" esc "F"
