Hi all,
We have Oracle 8i application running on
Windows 2000 Server (not Advance Server). Recently the OracleServiceXXX always down after midnight by itself (I believe because of the batch job run during that time). It was stable for more than 3 months.
The problem we can not find the usefull error log on Windows site (just "The OracleServiceXXX service terminated unexpectedly" message) and nothing on Oracle side.
Is there anyway I can find the log? How I enable a log so next time it happens again, we could investigate it?

im encountering the same thing, same oracle8i on windows 2000. what happened to your system? what did you do to fix the problem? hope you can help me.
