Hi All,
OEM Config Details is as follows:
Oracle (R) Enterprise Manager
Ver 9.2.0.1.0
We are planing to use OEM for Job Dependency & Scheduling for various OWB Mappings & Process Flows.
My query is as follows
1> Set of following OWB Mappings & Process Flow is as follows
M1 (OWB Mapping, along with other PL-SQL API's ) is embedded in Process Flow PF1
M2 (OWB Mapping, along with other PL-SQL API's ) is embedded in Process Flow PF2
M3 (OWB Mapping, along with other PL-SQL API's ) is embedded in Process Flow PF3
...
...
M6 (OWB Mapping, along with other PL-SQL API's ) is embedded in Process Flow PF6.
We need to create a single OEM Job for above process flows i.e. PF1,PF2....PF6 with dependency as follows.
On Success of Execution of PF1
Execute PF2
On Success of PF2
Execute PF3
On Success of PF3
Execute PF4
On Success Of PF4
Execute PF5
On Success of PF5
Execute PF6.
In case of Failure following is dependency.
On Failure of PF1
Execute PF5
On Failure of PF2
Execute PF5
On Failure of PF3
Execute PF5
On Failure of PF4
Execute PF5
On Failure of PF5 & PF6 exit from execution mode.
I am aware that this can be done in OEM by selecting on Success & Failure for each step.
My question is in case PF1 & PF2 is success & PF3 is failure wether OEM will execute PF5 & PF6 in Sequence or will it just execute PF5 & exit from execution mode.
2> There will be many more composite jobs like mentioned above J2, J3, J4...
I would like to trigger execution of Job J2 on Success of Job J1.? Do i need to create Event for this?
Can someone please let me know?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
