We’re in need of a senior portal resource for a 1 year (option for 4 additional) project in DC. Needs to be a US citizen and open to a background check.
Below is a brief description.
The purpose of this contract is to acquire contractor services for the maintenance, support, and future enhancement of the Oracle Portal implementation. Additionally, the contract will provide knowledge transfer to the XXX staff, consultation on future usages as alternatives are encountered, including upgrades of both hardware and software and integration with the XXX Intranet infrastructure.
· Maintaining and supporting the existing Oracle Portal environment, including the development, test and production environments. The services include software upgrades, enhancements to custom features like the XXX portal taxonomy and the implementation of a single sign-on mechanism and a security framework.
· Creating, maintaining and supporting Oracle Portal sites and applications. The services include developing uniform XXX Portal sites with a standard look and feel, maintaining enterprise consistency and providing business driven applications that can be reused and supported.
· Introducing functionality to enhance the Portal implementation including features of new versions of the Oracle Portal software and functionality of compatible software products that integrate with the Oracle Portal software.
· Ensuring the Portal implementation complies with Accessibility Standards Federal Electronic & Information Technology Accessibility Standards. Services shall include ensuring the system complies with designated federal accessibility requirements, and action is taken to modify existing system components to meet designated federal accessibility requirements.
