what i have:
oracle 9.x.whatever RAC
3x databases
2x dell poweredge 1500's (2x pIII 1.3ghz 2gb ecc) w/redhat AS 2.1
clariion fc5700 san (10x 36gb fc disks)
4x emulex lp850's
4x DE9 copper fc cables
Ok, i'm not sure how i got pulled into this one, (i'm pretty much a unix/linux guy), but i've got this hardware and folks are looking to me for getting this setup.
I don't have any of the emc software (access logix, powerpath..etc), but i'm hoping to get away without that
I'm looking for which raid level would be most effective for read in this setup, space is not really an issue
& any advice from any of you gurus out there on what challenges lay ahead...
