Seeking an oracle financials implementation project manager for 8 months contract for st. catharines, Ontario, canada, providing project planning, co-ordination, reporting and control of application development and maintenance related to the Project implementation while making use of in-house methodologies, techniques and tools.
Mandatory General Skills:
·5-9 years of experience in project management roles for large, medium or small IT projects, including a minimum of two years with responsibility for scheduling and monitoring.
·Leadership experience in managing the implementation activities associated with large IT projects such as data conversion and database loading.
·Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
·Experience in the use of project management software.
Desirable General Skills:
·Experience in managing the implementation activities associated with Oracle Financials or similar large-scale financial applications.
·Experience in the use of the Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and especially MS Project.
·Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and concepts (e.g., Pape Project Management methodology, Capability Maturity Model).
