Voucher Level Computerisation is financial accounting package and is for the use of Indian Audit & Accounts Department (AG office). VLC will capture raw data from voucher, challans from State Treasuries and process it to generate Financial Status of State Government. The System would store the Revenue and Expenditure of different heads of State Government collected from different Treasuries, Compile the data and would produce Finance Accounts of one Financial year.

Scope : The functional modules implemented by me is having the following details:-

Account Current Section (AC) section adjusts all the transactions made between the State Government and Central Government ( PAO – Ministry including those of Railways, Department of Ports, Department of Telecommunication and Defence) or between the State Government.This department deals with the Settlement of claims incurred within state or outside state but to be adjusted with outside agencies. Here two types of transactions are taken care of :
Inward Settlement : Transaction has occurred outside state but relates to the state.
Outward Settlement : Transaction has occurred within state but refers to other agencies outside the state.
Book section prepares the monthly civil accounts and submit the same to the Karnataka State Government on basis of output generated by treasury section, treasury accounting, loan and works departments. In addition it maintains detailed accounts of all loans received by State from Central Ministry, Market & Financial Institutions.
