Hello,
We have an exciting option from a client of ours for Senior Oracle DBA's for their Bangalore development centre.
The client is a Geneva based software development company with offices in Europe and Bangalore. Active in more than 10 countries, they have specialized in applications software for the investment and pension funds industry. They have established strong references in the European countries and seek to become the market leader in Europe and expand to Asia and the US.
Senior Oracle DBA:
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Senior Database Administrator you will be responsible for creation of database, installation of Oracle and configuration of JDeveloper. You will be responsible for supporting the needs of multiple development and application back-end architecture.
Skills and job requirements
You should have more than 6 yrs of experience with excellent knowledge of RDBMS-Oracle 8i, Oracle 9i. You should have sound knowledge of Database tuning, system performance, management and capacity planning, disaster recovery plan and implementation. You should have extensive experience in designing advanced back-up and security procedures; support the needs of multiple development and application back-end architecture. You should have handled large databases or live databases.
Prior programming experience and knowledge of Java will be an added advantage.
