Manufacturing Company in the Raleigh, North Carolina area needs a Sr level
Oracle DBA with financials 11.0.3 experience to join its' I.T. team.
* Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, development, maintenance and production support
of relational database technology in support of critical business applications.
Advises company management on the efficient use of database and on new
database-related software.
*Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science
or a related field is required, as well as at least 5-7 years of actual
database administration experience with Oracle.
Experience with installation and upgrade of Vantive and Oracle ERP Applications
11.0.3 is required.
The successful candidate will have prior exposure to system internals,
knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, telecommunications systems.
Experience with data architecture as well as data modeling, data table
relationships,
backups, recovery is required. Excellent communication, analytical,
debugging and
organizational skills are necessary for this position.
HPUX operating systems experience is required.
*U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is also required.
