I have several large ".txt" files created from an Oracle Report.  The text is 80 characters per row.

I would like to know if a utility exists that will allow me to scan this data looking for three conditions and if the three conditions are "true" extract the row and write it to another table.

I know I could do this in the original Oracle Report easily but each report ran about 2.5 hours and I have 8 reports.  I am trying to find method to select certain information so I can do some additional processing.  Any thoughts???
