Received the following errors:
Errors in file E:orantdatabaseorcltraceorclARCH.TRC:
ORA-19502: write error on file "G:ORANTORCLARCHLOGS_2LOG0000042486.ARC", blockno 1 (blocksize=512)
ORA-27072: skgfdisp: I/O error
OSD-04008: WriteFile() failure, unable to write to file
O/S-Error: (OS 112) There is not enough space on the disk.
Warning: log_archive_duplex_dest disabled
Failed to archive log to log_archive_duplex_dest
The space problem has been resolved and the database is archiving to the primary destination but, it hasn't archived to the duplex destination since the above errors were registered in the Oracle alert log file. Is it best to shutdown and restart the database to resolve this problem or is there a better way?
