I want to install Oracle 6i Forms and reports and Oracle 8i standalone database on windows 2000 professional OS.
I have installed Oracle 6i reports and Forms successfully but when Iam trying to Install Oracle 8i it just shows me the setup and when I click on the Install icon it just reads from the CD and does nothing. I have tried on Windows 98 its working fine but its not working on Windows 2000 professional.
So please suggest me what to do.

Hi,
I am also having problems installing oracle 8i but on Win98. I am too trying to create a db on a standalone computer but oracle 8i does not provide me with an option to create a database, any ideas?
