Hi,

I am trying to install Oracle 8.1.7 enterprise edition on Windows NT server 4.0. The problem is, even after clicking the install/de-install menu the installation does not start. There is no error nothing. But the installation does not proceed.

Can someone tell me the solution.

Thanks in advance.
regards
Akeel

connect internal/oracle

then type startup.

This problem will fix and now u can connect to SQL PLUS.
