Can anybody help me to create a database in Windows 2003 server.
I have installed windows 2003 in a machine. after that i have installed Oracle 8i in the machine. in the last part of installation after net 8 configuration when it starts database creation it stop responding but didn't gets hanged. but progressbar shows 0% for indefinite time.
When i ignore database configuration. then other configuration done successfully.
if i go for manual configuration then also happends the same thing.
my server is a standalone server.
Kindly help me.

hi,
seems only oracle9.2.0.3 is certified on win2k3. even with oracle9i(9.2.0.1) the installation fails in win2k3 server. I amlooking for solution myself..could anyone please help?
