Hi,

The machine was suddly shut down and when restrart the server and connect the database the msg is displaying that ora-01033 oracle initialization or shutdown in progress.

kindly help out.

in my pc fallowing erroer in comming
" java.xe has generated errors and will be closed by windows".

one of your data (*.dbf) files may have been corrupted in your <oraclehome>ORADATA..
causes:
> scandisk performed autofix on bad clusters
> power failure
> pc shutdown before db instance closed..

if you have physical backup of your datafiles, then you can restore it. stop windows services first for all ORACLE services, then replace your current data files.
