For the first time when I am installing Oracle8i in WindowsXP it is running successfully. But when I reboot my Computer themessage"Oracle not found is displayed"

But if you again install the database using "Database Configuration Wizard" it will work. But again after reboot it won't work.

Please help me in solving this problem as early as possible.

probably your oracle service is not coming up again after the reboot.
so after the reboot, start the database manually
he following will do it.

goto controlpanel/services and start the oracle services

or
go to command prompt and type the following

svrmgrl
connect internal
startup

if above steps are OK, then the issue is with our service.
create a new serive using ORADIM with autostart option,
so that oracle services are instantiated automatically after the reboot.
