Forms 6i "unbound variable" install error [message #100339]

I have Oracle8i (8.1.7) installed on a Windows 98 system. I then successfully installed Reports6i. But when attempting to install Forms6i I receive the following error message:

path.vrf(86): Unbound variable 'path_too_long_prompt'

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi
When we are installing forms 6i, on windows 98 I am getting error as 'path.vrf(86), 'path_too_long' and exists from installation.

Please guide us what needs to be done, to overcome this problem.

I am also facing a similar problem while trying to load D2K Form 6i.
It says path.vrf(86):unbound variable 'Path_too_long_prompt'
Any solutions???

The problem is that in the path variable, it accepts only 128 characters, which is completely filled up, so it is not allowing to put the new home directory into the path.
Reset the path in autoexec.bat , then reinstall forms 6i

Hi,
I really have the same problem while loading forms 6i in windows 98. But after I change in the path of auexec.bat it installed succesfully.Thanks a lot.

Hi!.. please help me.. i enter to autoexec.bat but i don´t know how to change the long of the path to 128 caracteres, the path to oracle developer is PATH C:\ORAWIN95\bin;"%PATH%"... please! help me.. how to do you did?
