Hi,

I have installed oracle on sun solaris but in the end it gives an error while creating the default database. It says Oracle Not Available. After that the installation process gets terminated and then when i tried to manually create the database, still it gives the same problem.

Can anyone please provide any help on this ?

The listener gets started (when i use lsnrctl start command) but nothing further happens!

Regards,
Dileep Dharma

You need to increase semiphores and reboot. The installation guide is not correct. Change it from 200 to 600 to start with.
