Oracle 7 Ver 7.2.4.0.0 Creating system error 1157 [message #100136]

We use a vender provided program (Tiburon CARS) which allows users to access an Oracle database. When I try to start the program I get the following error. "IM003: Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1157.(Oracle 73 Ver 2.5)
I realize the "IM003" error number is probably that of the CARS program, but am interested in the system error that seems to be caused by Oracle.

I use a completely (?) different program (ThumbsPlus 5.0) and get a similar error:
[[5015/8036]] Database error: SQL Connect Error; [[160-IM003]] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1157 (Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb))..

5015/8036 are the TP error codes. However I dont know where the IM003 comes from but I dont thin its from TP or in your case CARS.

I fixed this error (Database error: SQL Connect Error;) in ThumbsPlus by installing Microsoft's MDAC 2.8
