installation issue with 8i and Windows w/ serv pk 2 [message #100105]

When I try to install Personal Oracle 8i to a PC running Windows 2000 version 5.00.2195 with Service pack 2, the Universal Installer never starts, therefore I am not able to install Oracle.

Is there any way to get around this problem?

i am also facing the same problem. The AutoRun window starts but then the Universal Installer never starts.

I am facing the same problem with windows 2000 professional ,I guess it is the problem with JRE any furhter solutions well apreciated....
