Hi:

I am trying to connect to oracle unix via excel. Assuming I have all of my ODBC drivers etc. set up, does anybody have a vb code snippet I can use that will make the connection?

Thanks,

Derek

Here you go. Hope you find it useful!

Dim conn As Connection
Dim rs As Recordset
Dim strConn As String

Set conn = New Connection
Set rs = New Recordset

strConn = "DSN=dsn;Uid=xxxxx;Pwd=xxxxxxxx;"

conn.Open connStrg

If conn Is Nothing Then Exit Sub
