We are running Oracle Forms60Server on an NT
box and have just encountered a problem with
ifweb60.exe processes. The processes will not
quit; furthermore, they eat up CPU time. I f I get 6
or seven of these rogue processes running at the
same time, my server crashes. I have been using
the kill.exe application to end the ifweb60.exe
processes, but obviously this is a high
maintenance work around. Is there a fix out there
for this problem?

I am getting the same problem on my server. However I have been able to narrow the root of this problem down to a path through a specific form. I have looked through this form and cannot find anything that will cause this. I'm wondering whether this could be an Oracle Bug as a similar problem occurs in Forms 4.5 and Forms 5.

I tracked the problem to an old procedure that has been included in Forms 6. This procedure (call_input) must have been looping out of control even when the ifweb60 process should have ended. I have removed it from the form along with an 'exit_form' and it now works as it should do.

I am encountering the same problem with my NT server. Kindly let me know the complete procedure with steps where and how did you remove the said 'call_input' procedure.
