Hi there,
I installed oracle personal 8i on windows me, but when comes to run its listener tnslsnr80.exe on port=1521, it always trigger the dial up connection and disappear after running for a while. What's really happen exactly? Please help. Thanks in advance

I am a Starter and am not clear with this listener and the port 1521. can you pl. hlp me to get the clear picture of listrener concept and the details of port 1521.
