Hi,
I'm newbie on Linux, and I want to install the Oracle
9 Release 2 client on my workstation, I already set
up and logged as the oracle user, but when the
installer prompts for the name of the Unix group I
get this message:
"It wasn't possible to create temporary script {0}"
or something close to that (I'm using a portuguese
version :).
could someone help me?

Did you check if the directory you're woking from has the correct permissions , so that the installing user has write permission ?
