hai

i'm having a oracle 8i database in solaris 8,
i want to replicate this database with windows 2000 server having oracle 9i.

my question is

1. is it possible for me to replicate between two different OS? if possible How?

2. will replication occur between oracle 8i & 9i?

please give me ideas to create replication between these two OS
