When i was trying to auto start(bootup) Oracle 7.1.6, according the FAQ listed at this site, i got the following ERROR message,

SQLDBA> ORA-01116 - error in accessing file
SQLDBA> ORA-07209 - FILE size limit exceeded.

I have three datafiles each of approx. 1500MB. These files are tablespaces of SYSTEM tablespace. When SQLDBA access these files, then the errors were raised.

How can i handle this problem?
