We are having IBM netinfinity server running on oracle7 with SCO open server 5.0.5.we want to upgrade to oracle 8i.Can we install Oracle 8i on SCO 5.0.5 open server.

i have installed Sco OpenServer 5.05 and i want to install Oracle on it .It is possible Oracle 8i can install on it

Hi

Oracle has stopped the development for SCO Openserver 5. So the latest version of Oracle 8.1.7 only supports SCO UnixWare 7.1. There is no more Oracle for SCO Openserver 5. (According to Oracle and internet resources)
