Hello, this my first time on this forum.

I am a web intern at a university, and the web site I take care of uses JSP with an Access database to display information from the many student organizations. However I have never work with JSP before and I am lost. I have updated the database, located the java.exe, javac.exe. I have tried moving evironmental variables, setting the classpath. And I have tried to compile the index.jsp multiple times, but everytime I get the "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError". I get this message whenever I tried using javac, and java. Please respond if anyone has any help. Thank you

Hai Friend,
According to my opinion your path setting has got problem. You just specify your path in the enviornment path settings or autoexe.bat in Win98 as 'D:jdk1.3bin;' suppose.
