Error-cannot resolve symbol [message #92048]

//i have an interface callback

package test;

interface callback
{
void callback1(int param);
}

// class that implements callback
package test;

class client implements callback
{
public void callback1(int p)
{
System.out.println("callback called"+p);
}
}

i m able to compile the interface.but i cannot compile the class.
Error:cannot resolve symbol.I guess its not reconising the keywords implements/extends.

Hope anybody can help me.
