i have a microsoft SQL server and would like to write a java program to access and update the information on the server. i am totally new with that, and don't have a clue how to start... i read about JDBC and stuff.. but where to start???

if you use microsoft SQL server 2000,you should go to www.microsoft.com to download sql server 2000 driver for jdbc,install it and read the help file.It tell you how to start
