Hi,

I created 2 projects in Jdeveloper 902. One containing BC4J components (BC4J.jpr), the
other containing BC4J JSP pages (JSP.jpr) that use an Application Module in the BC4J.jpr
project.
I compile and deploy JSP.jpr to a standalone OC4J container.
When I access the JSP I get the following error :

msg=JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file Proj_dflt_pkgcommonbc4j.xcfg in the classpath

Appreciate any help on this.

Hi,

try to include the ..commonbc4j.xcfg rootpath in the additional classpath (project settings). Probably, that can solve your problem.
Perhaps, this is an bug in the JDeveloper.

Christoph

ps. if you found out more than I did, please report or email me.

JDeveloper 9.0.3.1

The answer depends on the version of jdev used and the version of the app server being deployed into. For jdev 9x, you'll need to use the BC4J_Installer to resolve this error. For jdev 10x, use the ADF Runtime Installer located under the tools menu. You'll also need your app server configured for j2se 1.4...

Hi All,

The issue is because of differences in the libraries between the server and the ones inside your J2ee ear file.

I found this Oracle link that resolved it for us.

http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/howtos/10g/adf_runtime_update_howto.html

Remember the server libraries must be in sync with your JDeveloper version that you are using.

Good Luck,

Nigel
