Hi,

I have an application which connects to Oracle with JDBC thin driver. When I try to connect, it gives me following exception:

It works fine, if I use JDBC driver from Oracle 8i, problem comes only when the JDBC driver is taken from the Oracle 9i.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Are u sure u've put the correct version of the classes12.zip folder in ur classpath ?

Make sure that u've downloaded classes12.zip for Oracle9i , it's a different download for Oracle8i.

All,

I was getting the same exception, but replacing Oralce8i classes12.zip(1.888Mb) with the new Oracle9i classes12.zip(1.169Mb), as suggested by Abhijeet, made the problem go away.

Thanks Abhijeet!
