Hi there! I am trying to run some queries using java and oracle 8i. I have it configured correctly and everything, but I am just curious as to how I can specify how I want my date to be displayed and read? I can't seem to get it to change to yyyymmdd. It's stuck on the long precision (including nanoseconds). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Use the class java.text.SimpleDateFormat
for manipulating dates.
