Does anyone know what a "ORA-17413 Exceeding Key Size" error means. It appears to be a JDBC error but I can I get rid of it? Thanks!

I got rid of it by using the appropriate JDBC driver version (classes 12_01.zip, it's freely available from Oracle site) for my JDK (1.3).
