I get this error, when I am trying to insert data which is longer than the width of columen, thru jdbc.
for example if a column is varchar(2) And if you try to insert ABC, then JDB driver throws this error. and Sqlplus throws
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01401: inserted value too large for column.
Have resolved this prblem? Why is JDBC not throwing correcr error?
