Hi.
Tablespace freespace is the space that can be used by any object being created, or 'extended' in that tablespace.
The extent freespace is the freespace available to a specific object, e.g. Table. An object is comprised of a number of extents (which is a collection of data blocks) - and is the 'reserved' space for the object. Extents will therefore have freespace for new rows to be created in a table, or rows in an index etc.
regards
Dave
