Please have a look at the data below.
A_NO B_NO QTY WT
-------- ------ ----- ----
S50908 CS00001 10.2 25
S50908 CS00001 10.0 12
S50908 CS00001 5.5 13
S50908 CS00002 6.5 10
S50908 CS00003 7.0 25
S50009 CS00006 8.0 26
S50009 CS00006 9.5 23
S50009 CS00008 10.5 10
S50009 CS00008 11.0 9
above is the output of query which needs to be formatted
as specified below using Reports 6i.
Group ABove format.
e.g
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A_NO B_NO QTY WT
----------------------------------------------------------------------
S50908
CS00001
10.2 25
10.0 12
5.5 13
CS00002
6.5 10
CS00003
7.0 25
S50009
CS00006
8.0 26
9.5 23
CS00008
10.5 10
11.0 9
CS00009
12.0 8
IF YOU SEE ABOVE A_NO IS ON TOP GROUP HOWEVER I HAVE TO DO ORDERING ON BASIS OF B_NO.
There is no logic for A_NO or B_no they can be assemled in the database hoever possible.
Can someone suggest some simple way to get the above outpur on Oracle Reports 6i
Thanks so much in advance
Regards

Hi,
I do not think there is any sort of Programming required for this.
Simply Put B_NO column as the first Column in the 2nd group in your Data model & set its breakorder as Ascending.
