Hello, We have 4 Different Locations and Seperate Database is there but Table structure is same in all 4 Database. and connectivty through Leased line is also there in all the 4 Locations and Database. We have create Database link also. ie DBL01, DBL02, DBL03 DBL04. Here 01,02,03,04 are the location Codes and Now we have to use this location code as a Parameter in runtime so that if we pass 01 from 02 Location then it fetch data directly By Connecting 01 Location through Database link dbl01. so how to use Datbase Link as a parameter in SQL-QUERY Dialog Box.

example : SELECT * FROM BMLOCN@DBL||:P_LOCN

here where :P_Locn is the Parameter Variable and after concenating value of :P_Locn "DBL01" is the Database link exists in Report Running location

if anyone have some solution.

thanks

Arvind
