Hello everybody ,
we are using Oracle Reports 3.0 for last 4-5 Years. we have certain problems related with Report 3.0
Here are the problems :
1. How can we disable the icons of the Runtime Previewer in Reports 3.0. eg. New Previewer icon,Print Icon. What are the steps for doing so? because we want to add security/Privileges to Print the Report or not.but one can view Report in Screen.
2. How to print multiple copies on Epson Printer using Reports 3.0? here we pratically faced that No. of copies is disabled in case of Dot-Matrix printer ie in our Case Epson Printer.If we select Laser Printer then it is enabled.
3. Reports Executable(.REP) get corrupted without any reason and frequently ? Why?
4. How to MAXIMIZE the runtime previewer Window automatically in Reports 3.0?
5. How to Pass parameter To Filter the Record ie Top 10,20,30 .... etc Customer for their Deposits in Bank
6. How to Use Table Name as a Parameter. ie in our case we want to use Paramterzied Database Link in the Table Clause in a Query Dialog Box.
ie TABLE1@:P_DBLink
Here TABLE1 is a Table Name
:P_DBLink is Report Parameter Passing From ORACLE FORMS 5.0. ie in :P_DBLINK Parameter we can send DBL01,DBL02,DBL03 through Parameter where 01,02,03 is our Location of Clients.
since we have Distributed server in Different Location and all server connect though Leased Line. so we have defined DB Link in all location.
If there is no hope then should we take support from ORACLE itself
