how and where, i hv. to set the attribute in order to print the oracle report in condense form.

Append your dflt.prt or any prt which u are using in ORACLEHOMEREPORTS30PRINTERS Directory and paste follwoing text in the last

code "1" ""
code "2" ""
code "3" ""
code "4" ""
code "5" ""
code "6" " "
code "7" ""

Now you can set above code ie &1,&2,&3,&4 etc ...
in Item Property of Printer Code Before and Printer Code After.

To Start Print on condensed form then set Printer Code Before property to &5 to the first or any item(for which u want to print in condensed form) and
set Printer Code After Property to &7 or &4 to start print in Normal Form

you can set prt file name in inside
Data Model -> Reports system parameter -> Desformat property initial value.
