what is the difference between bind and lexical parameters in reports 3.0 (d2k). how lexical parameter differs from bind param.

Hi,

Bind variable replaces a value or expression in the follwing classes WHERE, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, HAVING, CONNECT BY, START WITH

Lexical reference is a text string and can replace any part of a SELECT statement such as COLUMN NAME, FROM, WHERE, ORDER BY clases.

Safhan,

As mentioned earlier, you can do so...limit of maximum no of reports run at the same is decided by your Oracle Reports Server configurations.

Get back if you still have the problem.
