hi,
I would like to write reports using SQL-Plus...only select statements and using start files but i am not sure how to proceed...any suggested documentation or tutorial...sample code???

go to bookpool.com and order the Oracle SQL*Plus book by O'Reilly. It's a great book and will help you with everything you need to know.
