I am attempting to export a multi-tab workbook to Excel. Discoverer will start the export process but fails after exporting a few tabs. Has anyone else experienced this problema and do you know a solution to fixing it?
Any help would be appreciated.

We had some similar problems exporting to Excel. They involved set-up issues mostly, but some user error. The two major learnings when exporting to Excel at the beginning of a new installation that we found were:
1) Had to change the code to recognize 65,000 lines in Excel per tab rather than 10,000 (based on Excel 95 limits).
2) Export test would be successful during a limited test. We would review the test results in the Excel file. If satisfactory, we would export the entire file. The user error was that we didn't close the Excel file before trying to export again. Discoverer has a hard time exporting to open files and usually gives up and returns an error message.
Not sure if either of these applies in your situation. They both appear to be start-up issues.
