Dear guys,
I have installed oracle 8i and forms6i. Oracle 8i is working properly. But when i try create a new block in forms 6i, it asks connection details. if i provide user:scott pwd:tiger server:oxford, it will display 'tns could not resolve service name' error msg. I tried to restart all services in controlpanel->services. But it will display the same error msg. My OS is windows 2000 server.
What I have to do to connect forms with oracle?.I am waiting for the good result.

Hai,
First use the Oracle Net8 Easy Config and specify the parameters asked in the wizard.
This will update the tnsnames.ora file.
Then open the forms and connect.
