FRM-40202 Field Must be Entered [message #87136]

Dear Friends
When I press F7 in my form the form display this message
FRM-40202 Field Must be Entered it is not change to the equerry mode
My form has header and details
What can be the problem?

It sound as though you are in 'insert' mode, clear the block/record then try again.

When your form opens, either execute a query or set the target block to 'enter query'. this should resolve you problem.

No I am not in insert mode ,that is when I run the form just I press F7 immediately after the form is run without entering any data before pressing F7 and how to set the target block to Enter Query as you said

just to test why its happening u can make the 'insert allowed' property of block to be false and run the form.
press f7.see what happens.

should work.
