Is there anything in Forms regarding Key Ascii value etc.
i want that on my updation Form
whenever a customer press 'U' while cursor is in any textfield.
Respective LOV is called to update
Else if it press Enter . itwill not ask for updation of this value..
How can iget information about what key is pressed...
Can i get it through the Ascii value or something etc..
like wedo in VB or C... etc

u can go for 'when-validate-item' of that item
and find out the ascii value of char entered in ur text box and accordingly take an action.
because in forms no event get fired when we press a key.
