Hi ashish,
take a control block and take the hierarchial item from layout editor and place it on the canvas.
go to property pallete of that hierarchail item
and then under the functional property
in record group select a record group u have or else
under data query write the hierarchial tree query.
after this in when new form instance trigger ,
use the ftree.populate_tree built in to make it availabe at run time form
make sure this is the only item in a block or else u might have cascadoing effects

thanks for reply. but things u ve mentioed in your mail like the hierarchial item is not avilable in forms 5.
do u know what is the alternative for this in form 5
