Salam
Hope u are best in yu health....
I was installing the Developer6i (Form Server) on Window XP.
At the end of installation , I got this error as...
"user1.pin(20):OS_ERROR while spawing ifsrw60-install From60Server-DEv6i port=9000 mode=Socket batch=yes"
Any one help me... Urgently...about this problem... How I slove this problem.
Please also guilde me why this error orror...Is it Window XP problem ... or any thing else

Hi,
Follow the bwlo mentioned steps:
1) Completely uninstall 6i.
A. Run uninstall
B. Delete files
C. Delete registry entries including any services created
2) Run the setup program from the 6i CD in WinNT compatability mode.
3) Reboot
4) Install patch 10
5) Set virutal directories for forms server
6) Changed formsweb.cfg %serverHOST% to my server name.
7) Run uninstall of old jinitiator including deleting directory afterwards.
8) Reboot
Notes:
A couple of times the installer (CD and patch) would complain that it couldn't overwrite files. Even though yo have no services running , go into the task manager and end task on the largest svchost you can find.
