hi,

I am having a problem with updating fields of the base table of a form - it's not gettin' updated, but when I assign the same value to a global variable and write an explicit Update statement for the table it gets updated. The table is not updated even with a local variable, only the global variable works.

What could  be the problem ?

Please find a solution.

Does it return any error messages?
May be you forget to isue commit statement.
May be it has block properties which do not allow you to insert.
