i tried to down load the doucmentation from otn.oracle

"there is some error...". Nice, you could also state: "It doesn't work". Perhaps you could say what went wrong. I hope it's not about the subscription for OTN. The site http://otn.oracle.com requires a free subscription (no strings attached, no spam, just a subscription). Once you've done that you have all the docs you need.

acutally i have tried to open the pdf file but automatically VC++ opens up thats why i have written:
"THERE WAS SOME ERROR"??????

VC++? It tries to debug the executable then?

Have you tried the latest version of Acrobat Reader? I've had some problems with it too. After an upgrade of the reader, the problems were gone.
What file were you downloading?

The latest version of the reader is 6. I've got Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 and I haven't got any problems opening a document from OTN.

The only thing I can advise you is to upgrade the reader.
